THERESA McCARTHY (Nellie). Theresa originated the role of Nellie in Floyd Collins at AMTF. She has worked many times with Tina Landau: Trish in Stonewall and Electra in Orestes with En Garde Arts; Polly in States of Independence at AMTF; Belle in A Christmas Carol at Trinity Rep, with music by Adam Guettel. Other credits include Keleria in Summerfolk directed by Anne Bogart; Mother Benita in The Obscene Bird of Night, both at Trinity; Cinderella/Cendrillon, The Griffin and the Minor Canon and Paradise for the Worried with Music Theater Group; Boy Meets Girl and Loves’ Labours Lost with The Acting Company.
